Intel Smart Sound Technology Driver Windows 10

Purpose

The Intel® Driver & Support Assistant enables you to scan computing devices for the latest drivers available from Intel. This tool has the main interface hosted on Intel's support website and provides a more integrated support experience to users. It has an enhanced detection engine to ensure that customers are given complete and accurate information and a scan frequency option to change from a 'run-once' tool to a persistent experience that can provide customers with driver updates more quickly.

Maxx Audio when launches say 'Audio driver is not up to date, please check for windows update'. Intel Smart Sound Technology's also not working. My temporary solution: Right click to Intel Smart Sound, choose Update drivers - Browse - Let me pick. High Definition Audio controller (like this guy The intel Smart Sound are replaced by High Definiation Audio Controller.

Required to install and use utility

Scroll down, select Playing audio. Click Run the troubleshooter. When complete, restart your computer then check if audio is working again. Press Windows key + X. Click Device Manager. Expand Sound, video and game controllers. Right click your audio adapter. Click Properties. Click the Driver tab. I found the solution to the problem. There are two Intel Smart Sound Technology devices listed under 'System Devices'. The first is the Audio Cotroller and the second is called OED. I was unable to get the OED device woking with any of the drivers on the computer or that I downloaded. There were 4 drivers for the Audio Controller.

2. Download and save locally on your device.
3. Double-click Intel® Driver & Support Assistant Installer.exe file.
4. Read and agree to the license terms and conditions
5. Select Install.
6. Click Launch button; the tray icon will start and automatically opens default browser
